The villa features three king bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a bunk room with four beds and en-suite-bathroom.  Rock Hill’s architectural design features a stunning lanai and wraparound terraces with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and coastline.

Rock Hill is the ideal base from which to explore the “untouched wonders of Long Island”. Getting here is easier than you think with great commercial and private air charter options.  In fact, you can now fly Makers Air DIRECT from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport right to Stella Maris, Long Island.  Another popular option is flying to Nassau and then connecting to our island with Stella Maris Resort Air Service.  Please see the tabs above for more details.

Unlike most homes on this island... you can EASILY WALK from the villa to Stella Maris Resort’s Restaurants, Pools, Bars and Beach! This makes your vacation so much more relaxed!

Stella Maris offers daily excursions and activities such as sea kayaking, snorkeling, beach combing, scuba diving, bone-fishing, reef fishing, eco-tours, deep sea fishing, etc...

But wait, there’s more... swim in sea caves, explore shipwrecks, bar hop, explore architectural ruins, swim with pigs, walk sandy beaches, visit rock pools, drift thru tidal lagoons, island cuisine, rum punch parties, lobstering, conching and historical sites!

PRICING: The nightly rate includes 4 guests. Additional guest are $50/night. Rock Hill can accommodate 10 guests maximum in 3 King Suites and 1 Bunk Room.

Please inquire about adding the adjacent ISLAND VILLA (2 Bedroom/2 Bathroom) to your reservation.  This villa is immediately adjacent to ROCK HILL and it has a PRIVATE POOL. Completed in 2017, Rock Hill was designed as a "relaxed island getaway" by an award-winning, Miami-based architecture firm. The villa's clean, minimal interiors reflect a mastery of the "island modern" aesthetic. Long Island is world-famous for its pristine waters and endless miles of white, sandy beaches and coves.

Layout: two Master Suites are on the top floor and a Bunk Room (4 beds total) and additional Master Suite on the lower floor.

A Great Room and Lanai offer stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. The interiors include furnishings from Restoration Hardware, Design Within Reach and Room & Board. Please note this villa is not suitable for the elderly, toddlers and very young children due to some unprotected walkways, terraces and stairs.

You have free access to the stunning pools/beaches of Stella Maris Resort.

A rental car is not necessary to enjoy yourself at Rock Hill, however, rental cars are strongly recommended for longer stays and/or if you'd like the freedom to explore the entire island at your leisure. Our property manager, Bruno, will assist in arranging rental SUVs for your stay. They can be left at the airport or house for your convenience.

Prior to your arrival, you can email a shopping list to our property manager and your fridge/pantry will be stocked when you arrive.

All persons are required to have a valid passport for travel to The Bahamas (certain nationalities may require a Visa). If arriving into Stella Maris Airport, our property manager will greet you at the airport. You will need to use a taxi service or your rental car to get to the villa... only two minutes away!
